The Story of Willem's Whisky
In 2016 we launched the World’s first Dutch vermouth under the name Willem’s Wermoed. We discovered that our botanical aperitif blended very well in classic whisky cocktails, such as the Manhattan and Boulevardier.
That was the start of the idea to create a quality Dutch botanical whisky, aged on vermouth barrels. A happy marriage in a cask!
We start this exciting journey with our 5-year-old single-cask matured whisky with a finish on selected hand-picked botanical vermouth barrels.
The result is a rich and warm whisky with pleasant botanical notes such as dried fruit, caramel, and cacao. As it matures, the whisky can only get better over time.
The first exclusive batch is limited to only 350 bottles.
